Perhaps you are already familiar with the medium of black light. Maybe you have seen it used in a stage presentation? So popular and effective is the field of black light effects that they are used in trade shows, throughout the country, in amusement parks, World’s Fair, theaters schools etc. You can use the fluorescent and phosphorescent effects to bring life into your industrial display, commercial display, window display, seasonal display, convention display, theatrical display, point-of-sale advertising, visual aids, special background display, and posters. It is not difficult to work in these mediums. It is often as easy as a touch of a button with our aerosol spray cans. There are three types of paints available:

1. Bright Black Light Paint – Vivid hues under sunlight also under black light can be achieved using these paints. Very common in everyday advertising and used extensively for attracting attention in day and night lighted areas.

2. Clear Black Light Paint – Under the black light types of paints you have two main groups. Risk Reactor carries invisibles, which are paints that are white in regular light and then glow a myriad of colors under black light. Then there is the most popular line of our paints, the invisible transparent paints. These are absolutely clear in regular light but with fluoresce brilliantly under black light. Perfect for hidden message and multi-message displays. We also carry "invisible" paints that appear off white but glow the color brightly only under black light activation.

3. Glow in the Dark Paints– We have many types of Glow in the Dark paints. The first is our Fast Glow CPZN1-06, which is one of the most popular. Its characteristics of a fast charge and short after glow make it perfect for numerous applications. Risk Reactor's new longer glowing paints such as the CP2-10 and the CP2-06 paints are the newest hit with glow times reaching 100 hours. We also carry Glow in the Dark pigments which come in 11 colors and are stable in sunlight. Black light is also used on outdoor signboards. Usually such applications must be located in dark areas or a light box created. The use of fluorescent inks creates depth and projects a clear message. Risk Reactor carries day light fluorescent inks as well as invisible transparent inks where two or three messages can be placed and changed with a flick of a switch.

Clear Black Light Paints

Clear and transparent Black Light Paints only show color under a Black Light. These are amazing coatings that simply fascinate the viewer. These paints are used in hidden messages, presentations, dual artwork images, dual props, exhibits, museums, and of course, painting your room without anyone knowing it. These paints are also used to cover existing fluorescent surfaces to shift the color. When mixing colors, please use the same base to do so – If Water Based use water, if Oil Based, use M.E.K.

Invisible (White to Color) Water Based Black Light Paints

Opaque-White Black Light Paints only show the color under a Black Light. Use these for special effects, hidden art images, with our Clear Black Light Paints, dorm rooms, religious talks, and so much more. Our water-based paints are easy to use and clean up.

Bright and Visible Water Based Black Light Paints

Bright Visible Black Light Paints are colors that are visible with and without a black light. Companion Paints

Our Clear Overcoat Paints are used as a clear overcoat for protection.  They are also used as mixing medium for our numerous pigments and dyes. Use Risk Reactor Companion Paints to ensure that your coating does not have any UV inhibitors in it that will hinder your project or idea. Also, use the X-Treme White Paints as an undercoat to maximize the luminous effect of Risk Reactor’s Black Light and Glow in the Dark Paints.

Glow in the Dark Oil Based Paint

These are rechargeable, Glow in the Dark paints that can be used inside and outside. The CP2-10 and the CP2-06 are the longest glowing paints and the most popular for that reason. Our CP2 series paints are used extensively where a hard, durable glow in the dark paint is needed. Safety, fishing, and the art industry all use these paints to enhance.

Fast Glow in the Dark Paint

This Paint is used in making Shadow Walls, Exhibits, and in other Applications where you need a Glow Paint that absorbs and emits light quickly. Our Fast Glow Paint and Pigment are currently used as Safety Grade. As more and more people understand the potential of our long glowing paints (> 3 Days After a Single Charge), new codes and laws may be implemented to incorporate this New Self-Emitting Light Technology.
