INSTRUCTIONS FOR STANDARD CHARGER:

• This unit is provided with a standard external 120 volt AC charger.
• For 12V DC charging, use included cigarette-adapter charger.
• Charge for 24 hours prior to initial use.
• Red LED on handle indicates charging.
• Full charge from 120V adapter is 14-16 hours.
• Full charge from 12V adapter is 3-4 hours.
• Do not charge the battery for more than 24 hours.
• If unit is not used for two months, typically 4 hours of charging will be required.

The advantage of regulated modules is consistent output conversely, the advantage of non-regulated modules is that many more hours of usable output can be obtained from a single set of batteries. This might be more important in the field, but it is a trade-off worth considering for your application.
